About Hope Fur Paws Rescue

Our mission at Hope Fur Paws Rescue is to help any abandoned, injured, or lost dog or cat. We take in any size or age! The dogs/cats are evaluated, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and then put up for adoption!

Hope Fur Paws was founded by Faith Wetzler and her husband Geoff. Faith has always had a passion to help animals in need and dreamed of one day starting a rescue of her own. In October of 2018 her dreams finally came true when she and her husband were able to purchase land in Lonsdale, AR.

Faith not only has a passion for animals, but is a loving mother of two children, a wife, and a full-time Vet Assistant for Airport Road Animal Hospital. She graduated from Lake Hamilton in Pearcy, AR in 2007 and continued her education by earning three different degrees at National Park College. Faith and her family are very dedicated to making the world a better place for dogs, cats and humans alike!

About our HFP Family

.Hope Fur Paws has much need of Volunteers on a daily basis especially when a rescue is so new. One day Faith received a phone call that would change everything. A woman by the name of Amanda contacted Hope Fur Paws in hopes of sharing her love of animals with Faith and helping in any way she could. Before they knew it, Amanda became Faith’s closest friend, rescue partner, and “sister”. Amanda and her husband currently live on-site to better help maintain the rescue with Faith and Geoff. “I would be lost without her! She is a huge blessing to us and our rescued animals.” says Faith.

Family is everything to Hope Fur Paws. Faith and Amanda hope you can join them in their work to rescue and place animals in need.

So, if you share the same passion and love these ladies do, please call them! Help them in any way you can. You never know when you might find a person that has been put in your life for a purpose.

How can you help?

There are so many ways you can help! Volunteer! Donate food goods, toys, building supplies, fencing, etc.! Last but not least, ADOPT! There are many sweet furbabies that are in need of a good and loving home.

We have applied for our 501c3 nonprofit and have successfully been approved!

We have so many hopes and dreams for this rescue. We currently run on donations only. Any amount donated is appreciated and every penny goes to the animals!
